The &ldquo;fight or flight&rdquo; response is immediate in reacting or running, and activates your adrenaline. Stress that is mild and short-lived is one thing. Chronic long-term stress, and overworked adrenal glands, over time can affect your physical and mental health.*</font></span><br /><span><font color="#2a2a2a" size="4"><br />Cardiac-related challenges are often referred to as the &ldquo;silent killer.&rdquo; If long-term stress can lead to some of these conditions, then is stress really the &ldquo;silent killer?&rdquo;<br />&#8203;</font></span><br /><span><font color="#2a2a2a" size="4">You are probably familiar with some external symptoms of stress. When he was a young boy, he had also inhaled gas while trying to siphon gas out of a car. He said he was so miserable by the time he was in his 60&rsquo;s that he basically didn&rsquo;t want to live anymore. One day he visited a local library with his granddaughter and came across the book by Dr. D&rsquo;Adamo, &ldquo;Eat Right For Your Type.&rdquo; 2 Bob realized at the age of 72 that he had nothing to lose.
